With today’s products it is often necessary to process leaded components in close proximity to SMT devices; often there are only millimetres between solder points and the nearest SMT device. Selective soldering offers the ability to accurately and efficiently control a nozzle flow under nitrogen inertion to allow parts to be soldered without any damage to the nearest SMT devices.
Union Four currently run a Fluxer/Pre-heat-Synchrodex 460 in line with two Orissa-Synchrodex 460s to offer flexible, high speed throughput with the highest quality.
